Kudremukha:
Kudremukha, located in the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka, is a beautiful hill station renowned for its lush greenery, rolling hills, and scenic beauty. The name “Kudremukha” translates to “horse face” in Kannada, derived from the unique shape of the mountain resembling the face of a horse. The region is blessed with abundant flora and fauna, making it a haven for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike. Kudremukha is also famous for its biodiversity, with several species of wildlife inhabiting its forests, including tigers, leopards, wild dogs and the endangered lion-tailed macaque. Trekking is a popular activity in Kudremukha, offering visitors the chance to explore its pristine wilderness and stunning landscapes.
• 12:00 pm: Assemble at KSRTC Mangalore
• 12:15 pm: Start by mini bus/tempo traveller to Kudremukha (Kindly have your lunch before boarding)
• 4:00 pm: Reach Kalasa and visit Kalasa view point or waterfalls
• 7:30 pm: Reach Kudremukha Home Stay
• Overnight stay with dinner at home stay with bonfire and music.
• 6:30 am: Freshen up and breakfast
• 8:00 am: Start the trek, reach peak by 12:30 pm
• Spend some time at the peak and enjoy packed lunch, start descending and back to base camp.
• Return to Mangalore with awesome memories.
